As soon as I could go out by myself I brought the neighbourhood strays home, I had my parents demented. My first GSD was a beautiful long coat puppy dog, that I got from a disabled man, as he could no longer cope with him. This dog had me hooked, and I knew that this was the  breed that I would always own. Teiko was my sole  mate,                                  he knew what I was thinking. In 1984 Alan and myself were                                       married, and the first thing we did was to buy a GSD  puppy                                       from a  pet shop, but his ears never came up, but we loved                                           him any way.  Then we got two rescue bitches which I did obedience with. This was not really                                                what we wanted to do, we wanted to show, so we contacted a                                           breeder, and got our                                                                                                                          first  show bitch.

Centilla Annya, was on breeding terms. Annya's major fault was her character. We knew this wasn't right but the breeder insisted that we took a litter from her, to fulfil the breeding terms, and being new to the breed we did as we were told. Her character was very unpredictable, so after her litter, we had her put to sleep.

We then purchased a puppy dog in 1990, Karrivale Dancer, a son of the German Import Cello Von Aschera. His mother was Karrie of Gayville. Next came a beautiful bitch Gayville's Utte, also a Cello daughter. Utte was mated to Bedwin's Pilot, and produced Gayville's Indra, which we had in partnership with the Gayville kennel. After Utte we had another partnership bitch Gayville's Zandra. Zandra was a daughter of V.A. Jango V. Furstenburg, her mother was Quera V.D. Michaelswiese.
Zandra was mated to INT. CH. Gayvilles Nilo and produced Gayville's Fanto. Out of this litter we kept Fanto and the Gayville Kennel kept his sister Fina. Due to unforeseen circumstances we had to part with Fanto and the obvious place for him to go was back to the Gayville Kennel, where he has sired two champions. Zandra was then mated to Blerio Reflection and in that litter of 14 she produced for us Zentrum's Fenja, and CH. Zentrum's Fimmo.

With the combination of these two excellent producing lines, we decided to base our kennel on Fenja, and she has not let us down producing in her first litter to CH. Starhope's Chivalry, Zentrum's Glori and Gucci.
